Student Writing

The TCRWP is happy to share examples of student work related to opinion/argument, information, and narrative writing across grades K-8. Many teachers find it helpful to use these pieces of student writing as mentor texts within their classrooms. Often teachers report that their students are inspired and motivated by reading and studying other students’ work.

Below are student writing samples for various units of study. Please feel free to download them and use them in your work. Used by kind permission of the wonderful young writers with whom we are privileged to work.
